Caleb Fort - Community Leadership and Nonprofit Service

Caleb Fort has built a career that blends business leadership with nonprofit and civic engagement. Since 2014, he has served as president of QMX Mobile Health, an on-site imaging and diagnostics provider supporting hundreds of nursing homes and assisted living communities across the Carolinas. In this role, Caleb Fort oversees company operations and works closely with clinical and operational teams to deliver 24/7 imaging services, including x-ray and ultrasound. Previously, he was co-chairman of The Merit Group Inc. and director of the publicly listed Sonoco Products Company.

Beyond his professional life, Caleb Fort has contributed extensively to local organizations, supporting foundations, colleges, arts initiatives, and chambers of commerce. He has served as the past president of the board of the South Carolina Governors' School of Science and Math Foundation. He is also an advisory board member of Carolina Alliance Bank.

Previously, Caleb Fort served as a board member of the South Carolina Historical Society, the United Way of the Piedmont, the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, and the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. He was on the investment committee of the Spartanburg County Foundation and the board of visitors of the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Moreover, Caleb Fort is a member of the American Portable Diagnostics Association, the North Carolina Healthcare Facilities Association, and the North Carolina Directors of Nursing Association. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in English and business administration. Caleb Fort’s hobbies include exercising, hiking, hunting, and grilling.
